As Corporate IQ is being mustered through the use of Web 3.0 Collaboration
tools, transactional activity is slowly being supplanted by intelligent
applications.
Intelligent applications require complex logic layers to sit over
databases, and are generally self learning based upon the requests
of users.
Other intelligent applications are emerging, such as PrediCalc.
Ten years ago, the Stanford Logic Group set out to design a logical
spreadsheet, to rectify inconsistencies in spreadsheets. The result
is "The Logical Spreadsheet'.
Logical spreadsheets—data management systems that use logic
instead of math—allow easier manipulation of data, and has
widespread business use, from hotel management to insurance sales.
The Logical Spreadsheet is much like MS Excel, but also allows
for logical expressions using symbols, as well as mathematical ones
using numbers.
